This year marked the 4th Annual  Bank and Bourbon’s Bourbon Bash. Proceeds from Bourbon Bash benefit DonorsChoose.organ organization that supports educational needs and programs in the Tri-State area. That’s right, guests of this fabulous event got to sample wonderful food and drink from Bank & Bourbon in addition to supporting a great cause. In the last three years, Bank & Bourbon has donated over $50,000 in supplies to our local school teachers and students to improve the quality of education and touched over 15,000 students!

We were so excited to see what Executive Chef Thomas Harkins had prepared from his signature dishes at Bank & Bourbon including Corn Cakes with Tomato Marmalade, Beef Tartare on Crispy Fingerling Potato and Crab Fritters with Spicy Remoulade. We also enjoyed carving stations with a Verlasso Salmon, Pastrami Short Rib, Cowboy Ribeye Steak, and Pork Chop.  A large cheese and charcuterie display was set up infront of the open kitchen next to an equally impressive dessert display.

Guests were greeted with prosecco and wine to start the evening before diving into exclusive Single Barrel tastings and specials from Flavor Philadelphia partner Saint Benjamin Brewery exclusively for Bank & Bourbon. Guests could enjoy freshly made Mint Juleps and Mahnattan cocktails in addition to sampling from Bourbon sponsors at the event, like Jim Beam, Knob Creek, and Basil Hayden.

Some of our other favorites from the evening included a refreshing raw bar selections with both East and West coast Oysters, Tuna Poke, and Ahi Tuna Tartare. Make sure to join us next year for this fantastic event to kick off the Spring season at Bank & Bourbon inside the Loews Philadelphia.
