Kentucky Derby at Bankroll

The Kentucky Derby is the oldest continuously running sporting event in the United States, dating back to 1875. Originating in Louisville, KY this famous race takes place the first Saturday each May. The Kentucky Derby is nicknamed “The Run for the Roses” for the blanket of roses draped over the winner. This race is the first leg of the American Triple Crown, followed by the Preakness Stakes, and then the Belmont Stakes.
