Farmer’s Keep brings the best of the farm right into the heart of the Philadelphia Business District. Right on the corner of 21st and Market Streets, this fast casual eatery serves up plenty of options for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegan diets, as well as those who are Gluten-Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Nut Free, and Shellfish-Free. That eliminates 83% of allergens in the world – now that’s impressive.
Joshua Bullock has created a concept of bringing all natural, organic and sustainable ingredients to Philadelphia at an affordable cost. After working for years in the restaurant industry, he knows first hand that healthy can be affordable. With a sister who has Celiac Disease and cousins with various allergies, he didn’t want to see his family or anyone else excluded from all the great moments that are celebrated with food. He felt that everyone should be able to celebrate and share these experiences together, and we agree.
The Farmer’s Keep menu offers new 15-20 items every 2 weeks starting on Monday with a variety suitable to almost every diet. Each dish is healthy and unique. Customers have the option to mix-and-match, then pay by the pound or select a combo platter with a salad (3 toppings), 2 sides, and a protein.
Food is only a piece of what we do though. Aiming to provide an all-inclusive experience to our guests, we provide an array of activities, such as Yoga, Pilates, Biking and Running clubs, and other holistic exercise activities, all to strengthen our guests’ body. We will educate the mind of our guests through cooking classes and educational vendors. We even have a nutritionist on staff to help you achieve your overall lifestyle goals.
Salad options offer different bases as well as toppings and homemade salad dressings. Pre-made salads include choices such as Caesar, Quinoa Tabouleh, Greek, Shaved Vegetable, Strawberry Field, or Kale, Tomato, and Avocado.
Sides include options like Balsamic Mushrooms, Eggplant Caponata, Orange Tahini Carrot, Green Lentil with Basmati Rice, Honey Roast Polenta, and Cinnamon Roast Butternut Squash.
Not to worry – there are lots of protein options for carnivores too! One of the biggest sellers is the Beef Brisket, which is slow roasted for 16 hours until it’s super tender. Other options include Lemon Dill Salmon, Roast Chicken, Chimicurri Flank Steak, Apple Cider Pulled Pork, St. Louis Style Ribs, Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye, Turkey Meatloaf, and Sausage, Peppers, & Onions.
To accompany your meal, try a fresh pressed juice combination, or a locally made Kombucha. Coming soon will be a rooftop bar and garden! Farmer’s Keep will offer craft brews and organic wines, as well as using artisanal spirits and a unique combination of fresh pressed veggies, fruits, and herbs, to create one of a kind cocktails for our guests to enjoy.
Don’t forget to join their loyalty program where after 10 visits you get a free meal! You also get a birthday coupon. So stop by the Farmer’s Keep for a better option for your weekday lunch or dinner (they’re closed on weekends). Catering is available for the office. Delivery is available on Grub hub too!
