Philly’s BBQ Fest 2016

Summer is the perfect time to get outside and barbecue. Here at Philmytummy we can’t get enough of the stuff, that’s why we’ve go to tell you that this year you’ll be able to try all of Philadelphia’s greatest BBQ in one place- at Philly’s BBQ Fest! On Saturday, July 30th Citizens Bank Park will be taken over by some of the greatest BBQ vendors in the city and you can sample all of barbecue’s best from 12-6 pm. (Full Rack Ticket Entry 11am) Get your tickets here.

The 1st Annual Philly BBQ Fest with include samples of ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, burnt ends, wings, and sides from over 40 vendors like Fat Jack’s BBQ, McFadden’s, Famous Dave’s, Bull’s BBQ, Philly Blind Pig, The Whirly Pig, P.J. Whelihan’s Pub and Restaurant, Nick’s Roast Beef, The Twisted Tail, Waffles & Wedges, Undrgrnd Donuts, Snap Kitchen, Philly Fry, Smokey Pint, Pizza Wagon, Humpty’s Dumplings, Pbon’s Fresh Phood,  Dump N Roll, and many more! Vegetarian and gluten-free sample options will be available.

Festivities will include a rib eating competition, craft beer garden, carnival games, live music, and radio hosts from 97.5 The Fanatic, 93.3 WMMR, 102.9 WMGK, and 95.7 BEN-FM. Free parking will also be offered at Citizens Bank Parking lots.

In addition to McFadden’s sampling their delicious Ribs at the Festival, they will also be hosting the Official After Party for Philly’s BBQ Fest 2016!

Ticket options include:

“HALF RACK” Ticket $50 includes 10 BBQ samples, a voucher for 2 to a Phillies game, and a commemorative apron.

“FULL RACK” Ticket $75 includes early entry (11 am), 10 BBQ samples, a voucher for 2 to a Phillies game, VIP rooftop access with appearances by the Phillie Phanatic, VIP cooking demonstration, photo-op with the 2008 World Series Trophy, and a commemorative apron. The VIP Grilling and BBQ Demonstration will be held by Pitmaster Glenn Gross, of Fat Jack’s BBQ.
