SWEAT +SIP: Outdoor Pop-up Series

SWEAT Fitness has teamed up all summer with City Tap House in University City to offer SWEAT + SIP: Outdoor Pop-Up series which is totally free and being extended into the Fall! Free classes including bootcamp, yoga, and barre will be offered- and every class participant gets a free brunch beverage after their workout to refuel.

SWEAT Fitness is one of Philadelphia’s premier fitness clubs with eight convenient locations (Center City, Fitler Square, Manayunk, Queen Village, Old City, South Philly, King of Prussia and Conshohocken) and City Tap House University City is a renowned craft beer restaurant. The classes for SWEAT + SIP will continue every Sunday from 10am-11am through September 25th outside on City Tap House’s expansive outdoor patio.

And the best part? Every participant will be rewarded for their sweat sessions with a complimentary brunch beverage. City Tap House’s brunch begins every Sunday at 11am and will boast their signature brunch cocktail,  The Bloody Tasty made with 1.5 oz of Titos Vodka poured over ice topped with the vibrant green elixir made from green tomatoes, lemon juice, salt, wasabi, baby kale, honey, and green Tabasco. This dirty-detox will be served alongside brunch favorites such as their renowned Chicken & Waffles with crispy fried chicken, buttermilk waffle, honey-thyme butter, molasses syrup, and red pepper jam and the Tap House Omelet with sautéed leeks, roasted mushrooms, guanciale, and taleggio. The Avocado & Grapefruit Salad with young arugula, avocado, grapefruit, feta, sweet almonds, and ruby-red honey vinaigrette ($12) is the perfect post-workout summer dish!

The extended schedule for SWEAT + SIP boasts a variety of classes, including barre and yoga – along with a DJ each week spinning sweat-worthy tunes! SWEAT Fitness offers more than 225 group fitness classes each week from Yoga, Barre, Cycling, and more! They are taught by Philadelphia’s best instructors including industry vet, Donna Storm who has been working in fitness for 35 years!

City Tap House University City is located at 3925 Walnut St and classes will be offered rain or shine (there is a covered portion of the outdoor terrace – so there is no excuse to skip that Sunday workout).
