Chloe Johnston Experiences, a lifestyle tourism and fashion brand, will be hosting their very first art and wine event, called The Painted Grape on Thursday, October 13 at Pentimenti Gallery (145 North 2nd Street Philadelphia, PA 19106) from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
Chloe Johnston is dedicated to providing custom luxury and lifestyle experiences in select cities around the world. Whether it’s a one day getaway or an extended adventure, clients are afforded exclusive experiences through a network of art, fashion, food and wine, interior design, and spa/wellness experts. Each expedition is planned and executed to ensure that guests are able to travel hassle-free and enjoy their trip to the fullest extent.
This intimate gallery experience will feature the unique works of German painter, Edgar Diehl, and Philadelphia native, Kevin Finklea. Guests will experience the singularity of the artwork by viewing each piece and tasting a wine that complements the painting. The evening will also include a “meet the artist” portion, where Diehl and Finklea will share the inspirations behind their designs as guests sip through the wine selection and sample a variety of artisanal cheeses and light hors d’oeuvres. Both Diehl and Finklea’s artwork will be for sale at the event.
Wine connoisseur, Vicki Miller, and art expert, Jim Pagliaro, will be leading the second portion of the event with a specialized history presentation. Miller is the founder of Vinocity, a Philadelphia-based wine education program. Pagliaro is an art historian, currently serving as a Trustee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Chair of the museum’s Corporate Executive Board.
