Bainbridge Green Brunch Festival

This Sunday October 22, 10 am- 1 pm marks the second annual Bainbridge Green Brunch Festival, a fundraiser to raise money and awareness in support of Bainbridge Green. Crowds will gather on South Side of Bainbridge Street, between 4th & 5th Streets with tickets in hand redeemable for coffee, brunch cocktails, and food tastings from local restaurants.

The Friends of Bainbridge Green, South Street Headhouse District, and Queen Village Neighbors Association are proud to bring back this successful community event after its debut last Fall. Be sure to look out for dishes from all your favorites like Ela, Southwark, Whetstone, Federal Donuts, South Street Bagels, Bridget Foy’s, Kanella, Ants Pants Cafe, and Plenty Cafe.

Forget about scrambling for last minute brunch reservations, or putting your name down on a list when you might have to wait upwards of an hour to be seated and enjoy the fresh air and good company on Bainbridge Street.

Stateside Distilling and 13th Street Cocktails will be mixing up some strong brunch cocktails like Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Poundfoot Coffee will supply the caffeine. Local favorite Sweetbriar Rose will fill the air with music. “Kids Art Corner” Activities to keep kids happy will include Pumpkin painting by Painting with a Twist, Pottery making with The Clay Studio, and music making with Music Together.

The Friends of Bainbridge Green is a group of neighbors and businesses committed to adding 20,000 square feet of new park space in Queen Village, for a positive social and economic impact to our community and to our city. Bainbridge Green is the thread going through the fabric of our neighborhood, linking the commercial districts of South Street and historic Fabric Row, to the neighborhoods of Queen Village, Society Hill, Bella Vista, and Wash West.

Within a 5 block radius, Bainbridge Green includes 30,000 residents and over 100 businesses, all of whom would benefit from re-imagining BG. Proceeds will go towards improvements to the green, setting up regular programming, and creating design plans. Our mission is to make Bainbridge Green Philadelphia’s next great public space; one that supports local businesses, and creates community through thoughtful programming.  To learn more go to www.bainbridgegreenpark.org
