Within walking distance of shopping at the King of Prussia Mall, whether you’re having night out or simply wanting to indulge in a good meal after a shopping spree- make sure to check out the new menu offered at Sullivan’s Steakhouse. Sullivan’s Steakhouse strives to be your great neighborhood place for a big night out the new menu boasts a variety of bone-in steaks along with traditional cuts, fresh seafood, hand-shaken martinis, and an award-winning wine list.

We stopped by for the first time and were immediately impressed with the restaurant atmosphere. Whether sitting at the bar or in the main dining room its easy to find whatever you like to drink. An extensive wine list by the glass or bottle or signature cocktails. Martini’s are what they’re known for and The Knockout is their signature martini made with SVEDKA Clementine Vodka infused with fresh Hawaiian gold pineapple. The Sidecar is also a very popular drink with the gentlemen, featuring Hennessy VS Cognac, Cointreau, and lemon. We enjoyed the Moscow Mule with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, ginger beer, and lime; as well as the Boulevardier made with Knob Creek Bourbon, Carpano Antica, and Campari.

Sullivan’s has made some big changes to their new menu. As always guests can choose to enhance their choice of steak by getting it Oscar Style with lump crab, asparagus and béarnaise or simply enjoying a Signature Butter melted on top such as cajun, gorgonzola garlic, and cabernet goat cheese. Sullivan’s also has the option to add a complimentary housemade sauce including béarnaise, bourbon peppercorn, bordelaise or Sullivan’s Signature Steak Sauce. King of Prussia’s Executive Chef, Dan Kahle, provides his insight on the new bone-in steak selection on the menu.

“Broiling a bone-in steak allows some of the flavor of the marrow to be transferred into the meat. Because the muscle fiber contracts less, as it is held in place by the bone, it results in an overall juicier steak, and the portion of meat next to the bone is shielded from the heat, resulting in tenderness. In my opinion, bone-in steaks are more aesthetically pleasing on the plate, and since we eat with our eyes first we are excited to make many bone-in cuts available to Sullivan’s diners”

Additionally, guests can stop by Sullivan’s anytime and enjoy their 3 course prix fixe menu called “The Sure Thing” for only $46. It features a starter course of soup or salad including: Shrimp & Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Iceberg Lettuce Wedge, or Market Fresh Greens. The main course offers a 6 oz. Filet Mignon with garlic horseradish mashed potatoes and bordelaise sauce, Simply Broiled Salmon with grilled asparagus and charred lemon, and 8 oz. New York Strip au gratin potatoes, crispy onion straws and bourbon peppercorn sauce. Guests may also upgrade to a larger steak for a small upcharge. For dessert there is the option of New York-Style Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, or Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. And if you’re looking for somewhere to spend New Years Eve, Sullivan’s in King of Prussia is offering a special $75 prixe fixe 4 course menu for those who’d like to enjoy a relaxed evening.
