Autograph Brasserie Brunch

What’s better than a bouquet of roses? A bouquet of Bellinis! Autograph Brasserie is the only spot serving up bouquets of bellinis along with lots of your other brunch favorites. Only a short drive from the city in Wayne, PA, Autograph Brasserie opened in 2016 and is part of Marty Grim’s Fearless Restaurants collection including MoshuluWhite Dog CafeDaddy OPlantation, and Tuckers Tavern.

This modern American brasserie celebrates individuals from past and present who left their signature on American pop culture. You’re sure to have a memorable experience while dining at Autograph. There are countless signed photographs framed and on display in the restaurant and various rooms for seating including the lounge area, the Boulevard Room, the Club Room and the Sycamore Room.

We started off our brunch with some traditional mimosas, although very much tempted by the Autograph Bloody Mary made with Revivalist Dragon Dance Gin, Straw Boys Vodka, Von Humboldt’s Tamarind, and sriracha blue cheese celery.

We snacked on the Artisan Cheeses Plate with trio of hand selected cheeses, crostini, port cherries, and marcona almonds. A standout unique appetizer to note is the Chicken Fried Bacon served drizzled with honey, thyme, and hot sauce for the ultimate indulgence. And you can warm up this winter with a cup of Roasted Butternut Squash Soup  or Lobster Bisque. From the “Bread & Grains” section of the menu we longed to try the Jumbo Sticky Bun with caramel pecans, and Tahitian vanilla icing but sadly the restaurant was sold out.

To satisfy our sweet tooth we decided on an order of the Brioche French Toast with cornflake crust, Tahitian vanilla custard, and mixed fresh berries. This dish was executed with perfection and not overly sweet. The cornflake crust gave it a nice crunch on the outside to contrast the soft doughy custard-soaked toast. Next time we’ll be back for the Belgian Waffles served either with Nutella and bananas or strawberries and whipped cream. Now if only they’ll serve us a scoop of ice cream with our waffles?

Savroy brunch goers will definitely want to order the Huevos Rancheros. This hearty dish is layered with grilled sliced filet mignon, corn tortillas, queso fresco, pico de gallo, black bean salsa, and topped with sunny side up eggs. Autograph is also serving a classic Eggs Benedict with country ham, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, on an English muffin in addition to a Smoked Salmon Benedict. The Breakfast BLT is also very popular with customers. And who could resist two slices of toasted brioche with fried egg, avocado spread, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, and some chipotle aioli?
