Founder and CEO, Elena Ciccotelli has a ServSafe certificate and years of real-world cooking experience. Coming from a long line of amazing Italian home cooks and after 8 years working with in-home personal training, Elena recognized the need for a home food delivery service offering quality prepared foods that were healthy and delicious too. She consulted with her brother Nick, a classically trained professional chef.

She found that providing personal training clients with meal plans and healthy recipes every month, wasn’t enough because their hectic professional schedules didn’t allow them time to prepare meals. After much discussion, the concept of TakeItHome.com was formed. The concept seeks to seriously increasing the quality of life and to reach a wider audience to benefit the Food Bank of South Jersey.

Take It Home aims to give back to the community where they were raised in a creative and meaningful way. And since food has always been a huge part of their lives, partnering with the Food Bank of South Jersey was an easy connection to make. In December 2016, they started the Get a Meal- Give a Meal program with the Food Bank of South Jersey. So why not take the night off and give TakeItHome.com a try?

Take It Home is also available for catering events. They are open to any and all suggestions from potential clients to design a custom menu and quote.
