SWEAT + Sip Returns

There is no more excuse not to get your butt out of bed every Sunday this summer. SWEAT Fitness, Philadelphia’s premier fitness club has teamed up with City Tap House University City, Philadelphia’s renowned craft beer restaurant, for a second year to bring FREE outdoor summer fitness classes to all with their SWEAT + SIP pop-up.

The classes will be offered from 10:00 – 11:00 am every Sunday through August 27th on City Tap House’s beautiful second-story outdoor patio. And the best part? Participants will be rewarded for their sweat sessions with a complimentary brunch beverage after- like their signature brunch cocktail — a Beermosa, with Allagash White, St. Germaine Elderflower Liquor, champagne and orange juice.

“We are in that time of year when everyone is thinking about their beach body,” said Tracy Shannon, SWEAT Fitness President. “This is a wonderful way to keep working hard through the summer months – but outdoors with friends and brunch!”

The class schedule will boast a wide variety of classes – from outdoor Barre and outdoor Kickboxing to SWEATX – a dynamic, small group-training program designed to take athletic training to the next level. City Tap House University City is located at 3925 Walnut St and classes will be offered rain or shine (there is a covered portion of the outdoor terrace – so there is no excuse to skip that Sunday workout).

SWEAT Fitness offers more than 225 group fitness classes each week from Yoga, Barre, Cycling, and more! They are taught by Philadelphia’s best instructors including industry vet, Donna Storm who has been working in fitness for 35 years!
