Next Tuesday, July 18th at 6:30pm, Bar Amis is also hosting a Rye Whiskey Dinner with Jeff Benjamin and Danya Henninger. Jeff Benjamin and local food writer and drinks guru, Danya Henninger, have worked with Dad’s Hat Rye Whiskey to produce bespoke ryes that will be debuted at an intimate 4-course dinner featuring a special menu paired with cocktails featuring the two new ryes. This Thursday, July 13th at 6:30pm you can also stop by Terrain Garden Café for an exclusive Bread Making with Chef Ryan Bloome. Join the mastermind behind some of the best bread served in flower pots! Chef Ryan will share his favorite recipes for hearty, homemade breads. Next week, Osteria is also hosting The Island of Capri Limoncello Class on July 15th, at 6:30 pm. Transport yourself to the crystal clear waters of the Amalfi Coast with a culture and culinary tour of the Island of Capri hosted by Sommelier Frank Kinyon. Later this month on July 27th, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Osteria is also hosting “A Night in Venice” – A Celebration of Aperitivi and Cicchetti. Keeping with the social tradition largely enjoyed by the Venetians, this special reception-style night will feature aperitivi and cicchetti, or traditional Venetian snacks and small plates. Guest bartenders on hand will mix up specialty cocktails alongside our beverage experts. Later this month, Pizzeria Vetri – Rittenhouse will also be hosting, Choose Your Own Beer-venture with Wiseacre Brewing and this is not your typical beer dinner! On July 24th at 6:30pm, the menu may be set- but it’s up to diners to choose the pairings. This 4-course dinner will put you in charge of your beer destiny as the good old boys from Wiseacre guide you through pairing options with each dish with the choice of beer ultimately being YOURS! And on July 25th be sure not to miss the Pif Pop-up with Chef David Ansill at Amis Trattoria. Amis is inviting Chef David Ansill into the kitchen for one night only! He will be bringing his French country twist to their traditionally Roman-style dining.
